Google Play is divided up into 3 separate apps:
- -To use sandboxed Google Play, you simply need to install the official releases - of these 3 Google Play apps in the user and work profiles where you want to - use it. These apps are available in the GrapheneOS App Store. App Store has - support for dependency installation so you can simply directly install - Play services and it will install GSF and the Play Store as dependencies.
- -Play services and the Play Store depend on each other, one will not work - properly without the other. Both of them depend on the Google Services - Framework app.
+To install sandboxed Google Play, open our App Store, select Google Play + services and install it. This will install both Google Play services and Google + Play Store which are interdependent. Existing installs of sandboxed Google Play + from before Android 15 will also have Google Services Framework installed and it + shouldn't be removed.
You can obtain updates to these apps from our app repository client or from the Play Store. Updates through the Play Store usually arrive first.
